Define an aluminium window
Aluminium allows for the study of windows, balcony doors and sliding doors with different sections and finishes. In a climate-controlled home, the thermal break, the glass and the installation joints should be considered. The slim profile of the frame does not alone describe the window's insulation.
- Thermal break: compare the complete solution when the gap separates the interior and exterior.
- Dimensions and weight of the sash: these affect the section, the hardware and the operation.
- Finishes: lacquers and other treatments are chosen according to use, exposure and compatibility.
- Glazing and weather resistance: performance is documented for the specific configuration.
Finishes that match your home
The finish is selected with a colour chart reference. In areas exposed to marine environments, the choice of treatment and maintenance is reviewed during the project study.
